2017 Reaffirmation of Accreditation

BYU—Hawaii is committed to continuous improvement in all academic, educational and administrative areas on campus, and has been fully accredited since 1959 by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).  Being accredited means "the Commission has found that an institution has met or exceeded the expectations of the Standards and the Core Commitments to Institutional Capacity and Educational Effectiveness (WASC website)."  Associate Academic Vice-President for Assessment & Accreditation, Rose Ram, serves as the Accreditation Liaison Officer (ALO) between BYU—Hawaii and the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC).

BYU—Hawaii, having had its accreditation reaffirmed by WASC in 2008, is now preparing for its next review for reaffirmation, which will take place during the 2016-2017 academic year.
