BYU—Hawaii is committed to continuous improvement in all academic, educational and administrative areas on-campus. Provided on our website are resources that will help you discover how to become personally involved in and benefit from the accreditation process. Although BYU—Hawaii is on a 10-year cycle for review, accreditation is a continuous process of improvement and is divided into three stages:

* Institutional Proposal

* Capacity & Preparatory Review

* Educational Effectiveness Review

In June 2008, The WASC Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities reaffirmed BYU-Hawaii's accreditation and requested a Special Visit in Spring 2012.

* 2012 WASC Special Visit

In July 2012, The WASC Commission requested an Interim Report to be submitted by March 1, 2013, and a Special Visit in Spring 2014.  The Commission also acted to continue with the scheduled comprehensive review to begin in spring 2017.

* 2013 Interim Report

* 2014 WASC Special Visit
