2017 Accreditation Timeline
BYU—Hawaii is committed to continuous improvement in all academic, educational and administrative areas on campus, and has been fully accredited since 1959 by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).  Being accredited means "the Commission has found that an institution has met or exceeded the expectations of the Standards and the Core Commitments to Institutional Capacity and Educational Effectiveness (WASC website)."  Associate Academic Vice-President for Assessment & Accreditation, Rose Ram, serves as the Accreditation Liaison Officer (ALO) between BYU—Hawaii and the WASC Senior Commission.
